Interesting to read comments of some Miata owners who took the return-for-refund option because Mazda overstated the horsepower of the new premium fuel 2001 model.

Be nice - I didn't post this out of hatred for Miatas or Mazda, only because it is a rare and interesting event.

I think it was a stupid mistake on Mazda's part. It was good of them to offer the deal. Hey maybe there's some good deals on a used Miata now! It'd make a good daily driver.

all I can say is it beats the hell out of the attitude that ford had when the cobras dynoed with less hp.

Ya ford has had a problem with that lately notably the svt mustangs and the new bullit coming out, but mazda did the right thing in which theve treated the owners, they didnt screw them over
