Misspelled word pet peeve
What is your most annoying, pet peeve word that you see misspelled often? My nominations are:
1. Espresso, not expresso!
2. There/they're/their (there is a direction, they're is a contraction of they are, and their is a possessive)
3. Too/two/to (too is also, two is more than one, and to is a direction)
4. Your/you're (your is a possessive, you're is a contraction of you are).
5. scarey, scarry, etc... it's SCARY!
Hay, come on guys, bring it on
Help me teach the masses how to spell! Next lesson, punctuation!

5th grade spelling contest. Last contest before the State Finals.... Word: Appear
I spelled it Apear. Blegh! I swear I'll never misspell that word again. I got second place and a nice little plaque
Remember people, Appear! With two P's!

For starters how about hey instead of hay (which is what cows eat)
- sorry couldn't let that one go Sondra.
The ones that really annoy me are:
Dependant (someone/something that is dependent on another) when you really mean dependent
Obligated - the correct word is obliged
Burglarized - what happened to good old burgled?
Reckless NOT wreckless
It's (abbreviation of it is) and its (possessive it)
Break (as in something that is now in a state of disrepair) and brake (which is what you use to stop your vehicle with)
I'll think of a few more later.
