Agreed, but the whole idea of apostrophising plurals of abbreviations (such as PC's which should be spelt PCs) really gets up my goat too.

Why is that people can't appreciate that when a word is already abbreviated it doesn't require further abbrevation on pluralisation. ie. we don't spell PC as P'C so why introduce the apostrophe before the "s"?
