My cousin lives in Durham, NC. I wish I could get an addy for him to check it out. I'd bid on it but I would like to know whats inside.

Sounds to me like the mom still has some issues regarding her ex-husband. Hopefully the kid destroys the car before the auction ends. I'd have to imagine the ex has some legal rights to sue her over this.

Wow. Very curious to see how this turns out. Who knows what Mom considers a sports car though? Could be an S2000 or it could be a base Tiburon...

Can anybody make out the car in front of the garage? I have a feeling this is going to be a big scam. She's had the membership since December and has bought and sold some small items to get a positive feedback. If I were to bid, I'd break out the AMEX card (so I am fully protected) and pay through paypal. Ask for the Title to be next day aired once I won.

Dad buys car, mom sells it? Good luck getting dad to hand over the title!

You are bidding on a Box with a Set Of Keys inside.

Not necessarily, dad probably doesn't live with Mom since they are divorced/seperated. So the car and insurance might be registered under Mom's name and residence. Mom accepted the gift for the son, with stipulations and the son obviously blew that by getting the ticket and then lying about it.

Just my theory.

It is a scam as usual. I have seen quite a few of these on Ebay and you never see the feedback for the item after the auction is over.
