That's an odd response. Have you seen controlled lab tests of their products? Pricey, yes. Poor performance, absolutely not. I'm against the company's management here, not the products.

reading comprehension is your friend.
www.knukonceptz.com has a new line of home theater wiring, which is very good quality, for a good deal less than monster cable.

... and you are a dick. I was responding to "well, only an idiot buys Monster Cable products anyway." That's called being an Internet troll. Essentially saying, it doesn't matter because [I think] you are a moron anyway. Why would you even post that? That contributes nothing to the conversation.
OK, since you are having trouble with my posts, I will simplify -
My first post did not dispute the benefits of their products. I only cast aspersions on those who bought them

My second post was merely a hint to go back and read what I wrote, since it was obvious you missed my point.
The fact that the people leading Monster Cable think they crap out gold is not surprising given the blind following they have accumulated in the audio world ($20+ for a 3' modem cable, anyone?). But I am not entirely sure they are out of line in their legal behavior, much as I despise it. As I understand trademarks, you have to actively defend your trademark, or you lose the right to defend it. So Disney could not let a small theater use the Mickey Mouse image without paying royalties, then try to prosecute some tshirt maker for selling "fake" Mickey Mouse shirts. Given this environment, one could certainly expect a company with as much money as Monster Cable to pay their legal staff to aggressively pursue all possible avenues of infringement, regardless of merit. I don't plan on buying any Monster Cable products if I can avoid it, anyway. As good as their components are, I don't like being sold a bill of goods. There are plenty of smaller companies out there who would be happy to build me a custom cable for the same kind of money.
PS: I apologize for coming across like a jerk - that wasn't my intention, but my disdain for Monster Cable marketing sits alittle close to the surface, apparently.
