it was definitely very clear. it was pulled out of the freezer and like other booze it wasn't frozen. it was incredibly smooth. (i have taken shots of grain and it was smoother)

i have heard that you have to watch it with shine, but since my friends dad had drank it and was totally cool with me having some i couldn't pass it up

I have tried it once - my Grandfather gave me some when I was about 15. It was clear with a dried up/rotten peach floating in it (came in a jar - just like the movies!) It literally felt like "halls" vapor action x 10.

Tried some before my best friends wedding. His dad knows someone who makes it. Grape flavored too hahaha. Wasn't bad. I can't imagine drinking it straight up though!

Sometimes people use old car radiators to distill the moonshine. The lead in the final product is probably what made your drunk so different

In '88 when I was 5 I went to a family renuin in Macon, GA where my grandfather had grown up and it was held in his parents old house that his sister still owned at the time.

I asked my grand father for something to drink. He told me to drink some water from the mason jars in the second fridge. So I open up the fridge and grab one and take a gulp. After choking my life out he informed me I opened the wrong one and drank some good ole Mountain Dew. I told him it didn't taste like Mountain Dew and then told me that is what they call Moon Shine back in the day.

Havent had it since.

I've had it quite a few times. In fact I have a bottle in my freezer right now. It's good ole NC moonshine my friends dad made.
