Timberland's problem has been getting worse for several years. This is of course just a stock holders opinion but Jeffrey Swartz the companies CEO was for all practical purposes missing in action for a long time. There was no one really guiding the ship and they continued to make the same obvious mistakes over and over. The employees who made the mistakes were promoted while the ones who tried to fix things were sent packing. They have thankfully started working on correcting the problems, cutting some of the fat, and at least in some areas moving in the right direction. The problem is that it may be too late. TBL had a great "core" product that was high quality. They then made the mistake of chasing the urban "boot" folks until long after they moved on to other products while not keeping up the quality of the core products that made them such a success to start with.

BTW, I am not and never have been employed by Timberland. Of course this is just an opinion and may well be far from the truth.

Hmmm, last night I saw on TV that they don't expect Sears/KMart to get through 2009.

I do not hate the service. A girl by me in pre-cal is always saying she gets no signal while I get 4/6 bars. It is mostly the phones that cause them to fail. They are absolutely retarded and refuse to switch over to SIM cards or whatever they are called. My phone can't even bluetooth ring tones from other phones it can only use a bluetooth headset. They are afraid if they use SIM cards people will use their phones for other services.

It pisses me off when i see an old blackberry for $30 online in good condition and I am stuck with this same phone for 2 years, or I could go and pay $200 for a new sprint phone.

I do along with many of my friends. I agree sometimes they are not the greatest, but does any cell provider not suck?
