those were the days huh! ahha... My dad and my father-in law both still live in those days. They don't do shit around the house even though both are retired.

"i need more coffee" is what they both say when their cup is empty
" Where's the salt" - means - "BITCH, get me some salt"

I guess most people in the olden days worked until they were 60+ years old though. i am hustling my ass off here and there to hopefully be done having to go to work long before I am 60.

so run around like an idiot at a younger age, then die early of a heart attack with a big pile of $ in the bank.

christ, even the barber came to your house!!!!

damn women.....

and speaking of, why is it that women want equal rights, but they still want to be traditional in some regards.

they want traditional weddings, they want doors opened for them, we have to take THEM out for dinner, we have to propose to THEM?????

seriously, open your own fvcking door....

I love watching the older men treat women like crap.

The husband is usually 3 steps in front, which is just enough that when he lets go of the door she gets there just as it shuts!

My father-in-law (which I don't get along with anyway) moves from the couch to the table for Thanksgiving....eats his food as soon as he sits down, lets out a loud burp, never says thanks, leaves his plate and back to the couch he goes! Fvcking a-right bitch....clean that shit up.

I don't think he can even work a microwave.

well, i'm not saying that we should condone that type of ignorant behaviour, but chicks are def. walking a fine line between equality and tradition.

i'm like "pick one, anyone one".

What I'm saying is that even though there are 100 things to accomplish in a day the only thing that makes you "hurry" is yourself. You can get the same amount done and lower your stress if you just pace yourself through out the day. Driving fast doesnt save time, walking fast doesnt save time, staying productive saves time.

More than likely the thing that makes most all of us feel rushed is a lack of sustained focus on a task. The fact that we post on these boards lends to that.

scot, ur dick but good thread.

everyone else is rushing around in everyday life and if you live in a populated area, there's a feeling of keeping up or being left behind. like the previous poster said, it becomes an escalating "battle" to feel important. it's stupid since, life, when it is boiled down to basics, is pretty simple. sleep, eat, find money, find ways to spend it. now for family people, that IS a lot of stuff to do and can be rough waters. we would all be well advised to be more zen for health, safety, humility and a sense of reality. try to think about why you are doing what you are doing, is it really THAT important?

i think a lot of my rushing is that I am impatient.... I hate old people who dig around for change to pay a cashier......or wait to write a check out after standing there watching the cashier ring up stuff.....

I hate listening to all the damned details of a story..... give me the short version... i don't give a shit if the guys name was Tom....errrr... or was it Bob...... I can't remember which one it was........ Just tell me the end please.

Some people don't get it when I finish all of their sentences that I am bored....ahahhah...

Maybe it is my personality type? o well..... at work I hurry through stuff so i can play on the internet more..... C_unit pictures....
