834 in the first, and 467 in the second (Firefox 4)
My monitor is relatively high res so I dunno if that had an effect.

Edit: just tried it in Firefox 3.6.9 and got 1RPM. Guess hardware acceleration helps!

No no, I'm saying the Microsoft "Psychadelic" RPM test doesn't have anything to do with your connection. Obviously your connection speed IS your maximum theoretical download speed

www.bacardi.com ... is a pretty intensive, pure java and flash.

if you want a really fast browser, try google chrome canary build. its the fastest I have used to date. but I prefer using firefox because it has plugins/add-ons.
