Default Moto V3

I'm referring to the polarization from side to side as opposed to top to bottom (as it should be like laptops).

I don't have a problem with that. Only beef with the V3 is the poor battery life.

The RAZR V3 pretty much uses the same software as the one in the V600. Overall, the V3 is better than the V600, the only downsides being the width (maybe less comfortable to hold and talk for some), the polarized screen (but you get used to it), the dull outer screen, and of course, the price. My only guess as to why they polarized the screen side to side is to achieve a 3D-ish holographic look. The V3 is much less of a value than the V600. However, the V3 has better RF performance, larger screen with more colors, color outer screen, the speakerphone can be turned on before the connect but not before the dial, and the slim profile.

Btw, did anyone see Jennifer Garner use the RAZR on "Alias"?

Personally I think it is overpriced right now, I have the v551 and it works great. Had the MPx 220 but it was a total piece of shit.

Oh, I don't disagree with that. But regardless of price, it is a solid performer with great RF, a large screen, and a slim profile. If I had to pay full price, I couldn't justify it either.

It's a vanity lifestyle phone, period. Want a top performer loaded with serious toys, try a smart phone, PDA phone or communicator instead.

I had an Moto MPx 220 smartphone back in Oct. before all the fixes to the firmware and it was unbearable. Very nice phone other than the fact that you could barely hear the other party talking to you and the ringer unless you were in total silence.

Yep, that's what I mean. I don't need my phone to have a Windows OS and do 10 million things which I'll never use. The V3's feature set is bare-bones but has the necessary features to function as a phone (quad band for worldwide use, bluetooth, excellent RF, good battery life, and large screen) and is very light and slim. It's not flimsy at all either, the all-metal construction contributes to high torsional regidity despite its slimness. The phone doesn't skimp nor sacrifice on the important things. But I won't argue about the phone not being a good value. Like I said, I would never have paid full price for the V3.
