I can't really tell who's fault that one was. If the front guy wouldn't have turned so abruptly then it wouldn't have happened. But if the back guy wouldn't have been hauling ass then it wouldn't have happened either. Who is at fault?

Ouch! I would blame the guy in the rear, since he goosed it, popped a little wheelie and the ran into the guy in front as he turned.

What kind of injuries were sustained? They were moving faster than it appeared, as their bikes and bodies went a long damn way down the street! I wish the video wasn't so dark...

But it made me do this ------>

I sure hope that accident happened a while ago and all the details are worked out. Otherwise, it's not a good idea to post evidence on the internet.

ouch!

evidence on bikes? well, its probably just screwing up the ferrings and the mirrors, not much else, even in an accident like that. so, no other cars or insurance would be invovled, most likely, because its pretty obvious when you screw up a bike, that you wouldn't want to claim it on insurance - especially from something like that. but then again, its just my opinion, as I'm not a bike owner.

reminds me of the guy wanting to race me, wearing no helmet, shorts, and a tshirt - older guy, we both turned (dual turning lane) and he insisted on doing a wheelie all the way up the hill. In cases like that, you dont need to race anyone.

Yea if he were to fall off while racing and hurt himself then that would be a bad thing to have on your mind, or it could even be worse. Motorcycles can be dangerous if you don't ride them correctly or are careless. I have never owned a street bike but I used to ride dirtbikes all the time (I thought I was going to do supercross when I grew up, what a jackass I was lol), and you can get hurt even more easily on those. Be smart when on bikes, this just goes to prove what can happen.

I was driving through a very nice subdivision last Sunday after a visit with the esteemed, Mr. hecash, on a divided residential road. Each side of the road is large enough for two cars but since it is residential it is one lane.

I notice two sport bikes as they come up behind me rather quickly. I notice it is two young guys on the bikes - each with their chick on the back of the bikes. They ride behind me for a bit and then one takes off and pulls a wheelie as he flys by me. The chick is screaming the whole time and he must have got up to about 60-70mph.

I am behind them at the next stoplight and they are high-5'ing and all this "cool" stuff and talking about what a great wheelie that was.

Totally stupid.

As for the video - both are at fault. The guy shouldn't have turned so suddenly and the other guy shouldn't have pulled a wheelie.
