When you're in a situation where employers are desperate for workers, they will be much more willing to work with you and pay you under the table, then if you're in a place (Cali) where unemployment rate is over 10%

I don't pretend to get inside US illegally. I don't like running and i heard a lot of Americans hate immigrants.

If i wrok there for some years i can't become a citizen? It works this way in Europe.

What other States like North Dakota do i have as an option?

If you want to move here legally and make decent money, joining one of our military branches is an option. When I served, I knew several immigrants that joined. The military will help you gain citizenship, but it will take several years. Atleast you will have a steady job while you go through the process. I would recommend the navy or air force.

South Carolina is really nice. There are a lot of job opportunities and a fairly low cost of living.

A lot of people on this Forum are just anti California. Generally, they are full of crap. Here's the temperature in North Dakota:

You'd be coming from Portugal. Do you think you could handle that?

You're looking for a lifestyle change, not just economic improvement. Take my original advice and post on the SoCal forum. They can give you advice on job opportunities and housing prices. Most of the people here are just parroting what they've read. Post on the Florida forums, too. Recommendations that you join the military or move to North Dakota are BS.

Investigate immigration issues and opportunities thoroughly. This is a big step for you. Contact the US embassy. Inquire about obtaining a green card. This does not frquire US citizenship.

Unless I missed it you didn't say what field your degree will be in?

How many language's do you speak? Most Americans only speak English so a job as an interpreter might get your foot in the door at places like Disney.

Oh wow, didn't know that.

Obviously i'm trying to get into the summer weather, i live 2 miles from the beach lol. Cold temperatures, sometimes doesn't mean snow, freezing, wtv. For example, we have a lot of people frome east (Russia), they have temperatures like that and they are always saying it's a lot colder here. And you never go under 0ºC

Also i'm not trying to get inside illegal, and i gotta start somewhere. I want to invest and live a normal life.

Aparently US is unpenetrable unless you have family, invest or try for the Green Card Lotary... Other ways: study or temporary work. Working full-time is required to sign a contract with the company first.
I've been burning my brain for the last week trying to find a way in. Other countrys have a lot of porgrams to work on the US and i can't find a single one in mine FML.

I speak Portuguese and English.

Degree: Administrative Assistant
Finishing: Public Relations, Marketing and Events

I wanted another one on Business Management, but i need a new life...

Go work in Canada, specifically, in Alberta. They need lots of people in the Oil Sands in northern Alberta, plus lots of tradespeople in Edmonton in the manufacturing sector. Canada just lowered the requirements to bring in foreign workers for hard-to-fill trades (welders, especially) and companies are always looking for good workers (heck, any worker, it seems).

North Dakota offers similar work and pay but the US immigration policy is difficult to get past. Canada is easier.
