which ones are you looking at?
if you have digital camera, try to get one that you can share your RAM card with.
my preference is to get one which uses 1 AA size battery (rio 500 does), i am just not a big fans of AAA batteries and i have AA rechargeable battery handy.

just my 2 cents.
hmm, thanks for the tip...unfortunately I don't think any MP3 player uses "compactflash" flash cards...but I'll definitely look into it

I checked it out last night at the Apple store in Newport Beach.
Soon there will be a program available called xPlay that will let you use it with a pc.
