does anyone know how to do a mass field mutplication?

i have about 1000 rows where $x needs to be multiplied by .007

help! -brian

Let's say column A has your numbers (i.e., A1 = $4.2, A2 = $42, A3 = $0.42 ... A1000 = $420).

1. To multiply, in Cell B1, enter: "=A1*0.07" (without the quotes)
2. Copy cell B1 (select B1, hit Ctrl-C).
3. Select cells B2 - B1000.
4. Paste (Ctrl-V).

That should do it.
