Thumbs up Music Forum...

After listening to a great new CD I decided I would rave about it here on S2KI... in the Music forum.... but then I realized that there isn't one! I really didn't think twice about it. Even though I couldn't recall seeing one, I figured that there had to be a music forum. After all, there is a Movies and Dinner forum, a Hotties forum, and investments forum, politics, gardening, sports, etc....

Why no Music forum? I move to create a Music forum... it would be great to discuss not only Music, but home theater and speaker equipment for audiophiles like myself. I've also noticed home theater equipment and such posted in the member classifieds from time to time. A Music/Theater forum would be a great place to list such items. As a music enthusiast and home theater designer/installer, I would volunteer to be the forum organizer/moderator.

Would anyone else be interested in a Music forum? Obviously everyone listens to Music so I don't see why it wouldn't work. Who should I contact about this?

Any input would greatly appreciated.

-Mike

Do you care to explain?... that doesn't make much sense.

Is there really no one interested in a Music forum? I find that hard to believe guys.

I would really like to hear some opinions or positive feedback.

Thanks,
Mike

That's true... but think of it this way, while I may only see a few movies a month, I listen to music everyday. Don't you?

I see your point though... maybe we should just add music to one of the existing forums. Officially, that is.

movies and music? I'd dig it.

I have rather ecclectic tastes, and I'd love to share some of them, as well as learn of others.

I have thought about that exact same thing! I have multiple groups that I would think aren't as "mainstream" as some but I have a feeling that other people are in the same boat. It would be agreat way to hear about new groups!!!

That's great.. let's hear a few more opinions and then we can think of a way to pitch the idea.

Who do we need to speak to about this?
