I ordered my AP2 lip at my local dealer. They said it would be one week.

3 weeks later it finally arrives. I stop by today to pick it up. The box is open, the parts guy says he inspected it and all looks good. As he is re-inspecting it in front of me, I notice a crack right in the center of it. It looks like it was partially folded. The paint is cracked.

"Oh... Didnt see that one!" He says.

He is reordering a lip, from Georgia this time. I will have it Tuesday. He refused to expedite shipping at his expense for me. BS.

So the first time, I wait 3 weeks for a cracked lip and now all of a sudden they can get one from GA in a few days?!?! WTF.

RAAWWWWWRRR.

 

Sometimes parts go on backorder. Sounds like Honda finally made some available to the dealerships. Shite happens. Especially a part like that.

 

I would understand... However, they never called or said anything about it being backordered when I first ordered it, called after the 1st week, the 2nd week or this past week either.
