I topped her (yes it's a her-I checked) up with gas, washed and waxed it today. Put the car cover on it. 6 months from now, I should be able to get it back out. I will start it once a month. I am depressed,

Anything else you guys suggest to do, during the long winter months to her?

Definately starting it up, but as far as driving it around, no chance until at least march. I don't want to risk driving it in the snow. Kind of a bad situation. I figured putting the car away with a full tank of gas was the right thing to do. Highest octain available.

Shell

You may want to invest in jack stands if you are sure you aren't going to drive it at all. If not, inflate the tires to about 45 psi to prevent flat-spotting.

How many miles to did you end up at?

meat, I think inflating the tires is the best bet for me. Tomorrow's chore. I ended up with 3356kms = approx 2013 miles.

Damn it is gonna be a long winter.. We don't have snow yet, but I didn't want to run out of time to put it away clean.

Also, a side note, if you do not have a s2000 made car cover, w/antenna jacket, make sure there is enough slack. My cover put some pressure on the antenna, and put a curve in it, so I removed the antenna.

Defiantly put fuel stabilizer in your tank, It will stop your gas from going ...weird. Its also important to keep as much moisture away from the car as possible. I feel your pain, mines gonna have to go to bed soon I'm hoping to get another 3 weeks in though.

What is a good fuel stabilizer product? I wondered about this, but I didn't know for sure. The car will be stored in a garage, although not heated, it should be ok!

Damn saskatchewan winters, suck!

Come on down to Santa Cruz California! We're a friendly bunch of S2K owners here and I for one would be happy to let you take mine around for a spin during your mid-winter visit!

Look on the bright side, you guys don't have to drive very far to go skiing right?

I feel for you. I usually drive my sedan when it rains here and even a few days makes me miss my S2K. I'm not sure how I would deal with a snowed in winter!

Don't do it yet!!!

Be in denial, like me! You'll feel a lot better.

I plan on storing it for the winder, but I fully intend to drive it on those dry days that we occasionally get.
