My mother doesn't like my car either...well at least not to drive it. But she does thinks it's cute. my father loves it and all my exboyfriends are really jealous.( I am female just in case anyone is wondering).

For you gf to get so made about the things the car doesn't have..are you sure she is not made because you might find someone new with your S? Its to bad..before I bought my S2000, I would have loved one of my bf's to drive one. maybe it will grow on her

I believe if your girlfriend feels this way and drives a 2 seater convertible also, then basically she's just a "brand snob". Its not an issue of driving a sports car vs. a SUV or a sedan. I bet if the label on your car was Porsche that she would have no issues with it.
