Try to respect what she likes and doesn't like and vice versa.

The girl I'm dating kinda likes my S2000 (she did convince me to get it in Yellow ) but she saids that it's somewhat impatical given the small size but she respects my choice. And vice versa. She adores the Dodge Durango, which I HATE. Rather see her in a BMW X5 or Acura MDX. But I respect her choice.

Its all about respecting the other person. If not, dump her.

 

I don't know about this, I let one of my ex's drive my car alone and it came home with a broken front splitter and a cracked bumper. Not to mention the punishment IM sure she handed the tranny.
As for the original problem, she sounds like a brand-whore to me, any girl who drives an slk320 obviously has different car priorities than you do (high performance vs. "luxury high-class brand"). Buy some OLD Geo or something and drive her around in that, then maybe she will appreciate the S2K a bit more.

I my be off saying this...but I would never let anybody drive my S...I love it too much to have someone crash it.

Seriously, just take her Merc places, that way she won't have to sit in the S and hopefully stop complaining

 

My ex used to complain about my CRX for the same reasons. Some people just don't appreciate the same things in cars.
