Being a doctor almost guarantees a nice living (of course I'm not even a "real" doctor being that I only work in the mouth LOL ), but there definitely seems to be a ceiling to the earning potential, which is not the case in business (of course those limited people are few and far between)

Raj--how long were you in school/residency after the 4 years of med school? I'm sure it was quite a bit longer even than what I was (7 years total after the usual 4 year undergrad education)

4 years of Medical school followed by 4 years of residency, after the 4 years of college.
