Thanks Diego. That was a really curvy road and I needed to be able to up/down shift quickly. With it in the mountains too, there were lots of blind turns as well as sloped turns. It's a great road, but yes you have to concentrate on quite a bit of it at speed.

it is 9 & 3, but not if your steering wheel gets in the way of your grip... They used to teach 10 & 2 (and i think lots of driver's ed classes still do), but 9 & 3 has proven better...
