I just thought it was cute. It was originally a Yellow Boxster (totally unacceptable ) so they kindly switched to the S2000 that just happens to be my color!

Kind of sucks (on paper) Out here in Washington - the Western Washington Sports Car Council has different classes than the SCCA - at the SCCA events the S2000 is still B-Stock. WWSCC autocrosses are a fun series - generally from 130 to 170 entrants. Last year they ran 8 events with three warmups in Jan/Feb/March.

The S2000 in WWSCC runs in A Stock. Since I'm running the Buddy Clubs and 17" rims - I run in Improved A. Last week there was a 95 Vette and an '86 930 Turbo in my class. There are usually a few other fast cars in this group - a guy with an Ohlins shock - race seat + other mods S2000 (he generally spanks me) and a very quick M Coupe.

The supercharged guys run in Prepared A.

In SCCA - they have me in a PAX class - Non Stock1. It's brutal because I'm too slow of a driver to run PAX in an S2000 - particularly against the semi race cars that are in NS1.

Still fun though.
