Doubt that it would be considered totalled.

Glad to hear that you are OK though.

you need a hug after that wreck! thats terrible, it makes me cringe to see any S2k "injured". I'm just happy they didn't total it and there wasn't hardly any frame damage, it was bacially frame supports and braces for the car to protect the frame, that took all the impact.

How much did your repair cost? and how did it happen?
I got hit by Dodge Ram at about 85 mph in my right front side. He got me spining and into the wall, but it wasn't his fault either. Some moron driving Lincoln LS hit a Eclipse first bounced of the wall, with few spins, then hit that pick up truck and the rest I mentioned allready!!
I got $15 000 from insurance. How much it cost me to fix the car, well that will remain my sweet little secret!!

yer obviously looking at a bumper, hood, and both fenders.

spa yellow is a very hard color to match. First, you paint it with the yellow, and then you spray a green pearl and match it BY EYE.

Most body shops simply get the yellow from the paint code and spray away. it looks like crap afterward...kinda orange. They MUST use the second coat of green pearl, but it seems most don't. make sure you let the body shop know this or they WILL SCREW UP.

if at all possible, try to get body panels in yellow from board members.

I am not sure if you would be interested in a yellow OE hood but I have one that I will be happy to sell you. Just let me know if you need it and I will get some pricing and more info together. Thanks.

Stop blaming cell phones.
As soon as the users take their heads out of the a$$ and pay attention, we will. Sorry, but I drive about 25,000 miles per year and on an almost WEEKLY basis I have some moron on a cell phone almost take me out. The frustrating part is then they look at YOU like you are the idiot because you were in their way by being in your own lane. ARGH!!

Sorry about your car

Did you buy your car new in the US? It looks like New Indy yellow is a UK color (maybe available in other countries). But from what I understand, Spa was available from 2001-2003, and the new gen has Rio...

Spa is the US color and unless yours was a repaint, I'd say it is Spa too.
