My two new guitars..
I got bored of buying guitars, decided I'd start building them myself.
My first one played and sounded like shit.
Then I built the white one and it became my #1, just finished the blue hollow body tonight, and it just might be my #2
Thought I'd share some pics for anyone interested.
Before I actually started building the guitars, because I'm mostly lazy, I decided to build a CNC machine first so it would make the necks and bodies for me, so a pic of that as well

Everyone is always more impressed with the CNC it was probably more fun to make too.
All from scratch, the Y Axis is two bed frame supports welded together, the Z axis is part of an Aluminum garage door, the chassis is a 4X8 sliding glass door frame. Considering all that, it just works. Tolerance to .001"
The guitars are not quite PRS. I have a couple real ones, and while I like them, they weren't perfect for me, so I decided to make my own version of them exactly how I want them. For example you can't get a full floating floyd on a carved top body..
The violin carve I found uncomfortable, so my carve goes straight to the edge. Lots of other small things too.
Zippy, you're buddies with the Pinecaster dude? he's practically famous in the guitar world.. nice!
