IF some dude tried to kill you, you're responsible to report him. That guy might try to do it to someone else. If you're hanging around with someone who would do that you have some bigger problems.

damn right, if someone is crazy enough to pull a knife on you, he needs to be arrested. Quit being a pussy and file a report, you still have time, the statute of limitations for assault is 5 years right? Prosecutors can compel your "friends" to testify to the truth...No way would someone get away with pulling a knife on me.

Also, I have 2 MySpace accounts: both music-related. No personal stuff (except my opinions on. . . . .music, funny that).

I agree with you guys on reporting this guy, but from his point of view, it must be a difficult thing to do.

He mentioned that many of his friends are also friends with the other guy, so if he did report him, it would definitely turn many of his current friends against him. Maybe worse, some of his other friends are just as crazy as this guy pulling out a knife. It would probably ruin his reputation with his existing group... but then again, i wouldnt want to hang around people that would want to stab people.
