Does anybody know how these work? Kalie and I have suspected the maintenence people at our apartment complex have been sneaking in without reason and have been going through our things.

How do these things work and how do you set them up?
I'm looking into getting a cheap one.

 

Just grab a web cam and throw the motion recording software on your comp. It'll record only when it needs to instead of giving you hours of nothing happening....kinda like your Saturday nights. OHHHHHHHH

I *think* I found the real reason for GNN wanting a nanny cam.

 

I don't like the idea of a webcam, and I'm not too fond of using a vcr to do my recording, so I was wondering if this would work.

Has anybody here done this sort of thing before that could perhaps point me in the direction of a decent camera that won't break my bank? The picture doesn't have to be high quality, I don't need to see details. Volume would be good though.
