I don't see how something as small as a wine bottle is going to make a crater the size of a stadium? Doubt anyone will see anything.

But what if the barrel missed the comet? Will the barrel of explisives head towards earth? I hope NASA has a fail-safe plan.

Uhhh, #1) there are no explosives aboard the probe, and #2) it's 80 million miles away...no need to worry about the probe hitting the Earth.

According to my calculations it should have only cost $128,000. Plus couldn't they do it at a more convenient time, 1:52 AM EDT? I guess I'll tivo it.
