So what is the GNP or the budget for those dates? Need to put it in context. Think about how much a Honda Civic cost in 1987 vs a 2004 model?

First off, the population is now 290+? I thought it was still around 275.

Second, can I have a trillion dollars? I'm sure it wouldn't make much of a difference to the debt. A trillion dollars! That's unthinkable! It would take me forever to count to that number, much less in dollars.

there is a reason a large percentage of the budget is allocated towards the Pentagon. If it weren't for the national defense, the bleeding-hearts couldn't sit around and complain about the current administration.

it a shame certain groups take their freedom for granted.
