They will always call.
The trick to make them stop calling is to threaten them by saying I'll get my lawyers on ya!!
Well not necessarily like that but you have to ask to be taken off the list they put you in. If the same company calls, you can threaten by saying "my lawyers will talk to you."
I don't remember exactly how it works but I remember my English teacher telling us how in school.
all i know is AT&T calls us alot

If you're a current customer or if you've done any business or asked for information, they can still call you for several months after the fact. There's also been problems with companies not getting the lists yet. I assume there'll be a time of transition. Also, if you just signed up, I believe there's a bit of time before it takes effect.

Someone at work today told me the "CEO's" of two of the well-known tele-marketing companies acutally signed up for the do-not-call list .

And wtf is up with this judge from Denver ?! He's either smoking crack or gettin pretty fat kickbacks from these scumbags.

I usually let my phone ring 4 times, let them start their sh&t and pick up the phone and yell, "Yeah, yo mama like it" and just hang up.

Also, registering your phone # for National do-not-call list will not do anything to stop the Local telemarketers like ones in your own state .
