My mom swore up and down that it works...after all, she read it on the internet (email about six months ago). I am an Industrial Technology Major and my dad is an Electrical Engineer...she would not listen to our arguments about how there is no chance in hell that this could possibly work.

This DOES actually work. I have unlocked my dorrs from halfway accross the lot at work (about 100 feet). Try it when no one's looking (so you don't look ghey).
I like when people ask for my keys to get something from the car...I just unlock from my desk and they freak out.
