Need a DVD player, any suggestions?

Mine is a Pioneer and it has been trouble free for 3 years now.

Sony was considered but since I already had a Pioneer sysyem set up, I decided to stick with Pioneer instead.

My 2 yr old Sony dvd player broke after a year, the disk spins up but it displays no disk, cd or dvd. My current 5 yr old pioneer broke after a year, but that was repaired under an extended warranty. I am using the pioneer with component to my sanyo plv-z1 projector, sweet picture, although I want to upgrade to progressive scan at some point. The Panasonic are top rated on www.avsforum.com due to the lack of the chroma color bug, but I would consider an apex if it was progressive scan.
