Yeah The Dog Is WAY too Skinny, You need go To the Vet And get some info on How many times a day you need to feed it, and ask what Type of food to get. He Might need to go on a certain diet until he fattens up then they might change it to a Regular puppy diet. But You should definitely go to a vet and see if he needs to go on a certain diet for a while. But After he fattens up and gets a little older you should prob. have a dry food out for him 24/7 and some wet food maybe 3 times a day, morning, noon, and night... I have had my Current dog for 7 years and he's doing fine with that But My dogs a Pomeranian so find out what His needs are from research or your vet! Good luck Hopefully he fattens up soon! Cute Puppy!!

Can't tell from the pictures; too dark.

Looks like he's between the puppy and dog stage, they always look that awkward.

> Without being a dick, ignore that entire paragraph. It's not the number of times you feed your dog per day, what matters is the amount.

I agree. Some people feed their dog, including me, once a day and that's fine.

it does appear to be a rott from the pictures, although there are variations of features in all breeds. As far as feeding, make sure you use a high quality puppy food as well.

Has the dog had all of its shots and been dewormed all that goodness? Take it to a vet. Asking for veterinary advice on a car board is arguably more futile and dangerous than asking for legal advice.

jk Ok well, Yeah It really dosent matter what we can say on this board (unless your a certified vet)..Its what an actuall vet has to say. In some cases a neglected dogs' needs are different from others, depending on what type of dog and the case and blah blah blah. But What I was trying to say was my point which may be "wrong" but to go to a vet to make sure hes doing fine. There may also be some other reasons why he skinny or what have you. And since your friend didnt feed it then he probably hasent gone to the vet for a check up or whatever so Im just saying your best bet is to go to the vet and get proper advice from someone that knows about whats right for your dog. I just trying to help the poor guy! Hope hes get better Verry soon
