need help Dog experts might know this
AMEN!
Just take the dog to a vet to have a basic checkup done. it should be $30-$40 and even if the vet finds nothing, at least you'll know the dog is in good shape. no point guessing on a dog that you're bringing into your house!

I say he is a little skinny but if he is fully energetic. I second the motion: take it to a vet and get a through check up.
He has those brown spots above his eyes so it does look like one, but the ears are a tad long. Check to see if he has the star looking patch of brown fur on his a$$. If so then it should be pure bred to the best of my knowledge. He does look malnourished though.
I had a Rottweiler puppy once and she was super skinny too, give her some time and more food and she'll bulk up.
My current dog (the bestest Labrador ever) is super skinny too, but the vet keeps telling me he's one of the healthest that visits his office. My baby's too energetic to put on any weight and I feed him twice what I feed our other dog.
I would believe yours is a pure bred if you told me she was. Just check out her feet, she'll grow into them before you know it.
But, like some of the other guys suggested, take her to vet for a checkup. It's always a good idea with a new dog. Escpecially a puppy.
Are you feeding her puppy food? Larger breeds really need the extra calories and nutrition for a good start in life. I'd keep her on puppy food until she's 2 years old at least.
