Default Need help finding something but don't know what it's called!

I'm making a poker table and I'm trying to copy a table a saw quite a while ago because I loved the feel of it but I cannot for the life of me figure out what the foam padding under the table felt is called.

It's basically "packaging peanut" material but in a long sheet form, obviously. About 1/2" thick. It's also the same stuff you'll find in some packaging of product in a box. It's the squishy insulation that feels like a packaging peanut. I know that my flat panel TV came with it in the box in a form fit around the edges of the TV. It's that material.

Does anyone know what one would call this? I tried foam insulation, polyethylene padding, packaging peanut material padding, and a bunch of everything else in between.

Thanks!

Yes, I think this is what I may be looking for but it's hard to tell from any pictures, and I could only find it in bulk (around $200 per roll). I really want to be able to order it in 48 inches or thereabouts width and however long it come (for my purpose I'll need it at least 8 ft long).

The first link is what I'm looking for I think, but I'm trying to find it in 1/2" and it HAS to be at least 48 inches wide. The thickness isn't as much of an issue as the width.

try going to a material store. or even to a pool table/card table/hot tub(that sells card tables) store. they could direct you to a supply where they have customer tables repaired.
