Default Need help on laptop...

I just bought a slightly used laptop (open-box) at Circuit City. I'd like to know how to find out when the laptop was made (or assembled). I checked on the bottom, some programs, etc. and couldn't find any date of production. If you know a way, please advise. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure if you call tech support for the manufacturer they can look it up from the s/n. I know with Dell you can find that out on their website but since you got it at CC I doubt it's a Dell. Maybe that manufacturer has a similar system on their site.

Thanks for the response! That helps. It's a Toshiba.

Most HD ware vendors can pull up all the info from a s/n or any specifics on the motherboard.
