Sorry, but the devil can't be that cute!
Is it normal for puppies to keep biting me when he plays? Yes, he'll be more free with you since you are in his pack. He'll engage in this kind of biting play. Additionally he'll be a biter for a few months because he's going to be teething. He'll loose those razor sharp baby teeth and get some humongo adult teeth that are less sharp. Get him lots of chew toys to work on.
I doubt he'll go after your cars. He will go after everything else though. Watch out for containters that have chemicals that could kill him. He will be quite destructive for a while. The key is to give him enough puppy toys that he won't go after your nice stuff.

What's the cutie-pie's name?
Thanks! He may look cute and innocent and all, but inside his head is pure evil.
He's constantly thinking: "Should I poop here, or there, or maybe on that guy's face?"
But the truth is, he's been pooping outside much more, which is awesome.
I didn't know what to name him, so I just call him Inu, Japanese for dog, nice and simple.
My garage is pretty clean and free from chemicals. I put all of the chemicals in the locked cabinets. The only things that are there are shoes and my cars, oh, and the cat litter box, which I wouldn't mind if he uses.
Okay, I'll get him lots of more toys. One-dollar stores have a lot of nice pet toys for, well, a buck each.
Some of the stuff I bought for him from those dollar stores are like $10 elsewhere, and they are exactly the same.
Have I mentioned he's strong as a bull? Cuz he is.
I can't imagine him being full grown at 130 lbs. and jumping on me whenever I come home.

Dog's like to munch on that stuff. If you use a clumping litter it can be very bad for the dog.
I taught my dog to ring a bell when he wants to go out. It was a little parkeet cage bell nailed to the door frame.
For the first week, you stand at the door with the dog for a few seconds waiting, ring the bell, and then go outside. The second week, you wait a few seconds at the door, grab the dogs paw, and ring the bell and then go outside. The third week, stand at the door, look at the dog, look at the bell go back and forth just waiting until he rings it with his paw, reward him, and go outside. They pick it up pretty quick if the dog is intellegent. Chewbacca is wayyyyyyyyy smart.
When outside, if the dog is leaking say "go pee" over and over while he is doing it. Same with a dookey. Then they will do it on command. Always reward the dog when he is learning to do things as a puppy.

As for toys, I don't recommend those cheap plastic things that squeak when you squeeze them. Most dogs will rip those toys to shreds, and then you'll be picking up plastic pieces around the house, along with the poop.
The best thing I ever got my dog were Nylabones. These are especially good for dogs that like to chew or have strong teeth and jaws.
Besides Nylabones, the other good toy is a rubber "Kong" that you can stuff with dog treats and/or peanut butter (not too often, but as a rare treat).
All other plastic toys and rope toys get shredded to pieces and end up being all over your house.
So stick to Nylabones, Kongs and some good ole' dog biscuits (milkbones) to help keep your dog's teeth and gums healthy. This will also help keep him away from your shoes, furniture and other goods.

To keep the teeth and gums healthy, I also think you should brush your dogs teeth. Getting him into the habit as a puppy will make it much easier than if you start when he gets older. This will also help prevent a bad odor. Any pet store or your vet should have some toothpaste you can use. It is safe for the dog to swallow so no rinsing is necessary and are available in different flavors to please your dog.
