Need Hotel Reviews in Las Vegas
I'm going to be spending a fair amount of time in Las Vegas during the coming year and need some help deciding where to stay. I don't gamble, so no comps for me.
I'm looking for some decent, clean, cheap places to stay. I was wondering about Hotels more along the lines of The New Frontier, Stratosphere, Circus Circus, Palace Station, The Orleans, Boardwalk, Four Queens, Plaza Hotel, etc. I'm looking to stay either on the strip, freemont street or west of the strip.
While you're at it, if you know of some good cheap places to eat let me know.
Thanks a lot guys!

new york really isnt that expensive and is right on the strip. they have some good resturants their to. If your looking for a great place to eat, try delmonico's in the balatio(SP?) its not cheap by any means but they do have some of the best food ive ever eaten. The Flamingo is priddy reasonable and is in a great location on the strip. just a few ideas.
A lot of those places you listed is not something I would even stay at. If you want a place with lots of room at a good rate. Rio is a good place to stay. All rooms are suites there. Stratosphere is okay. Kinda on the noisy side. Circus Circus is a dive with kids everywhere. Monte Carlo is okay. New york, new york is good as well provided that you get a room away from the roller coasters. I would avoid anything on Fremont street. I mostly stay at Rio on the weekends and at Mandelay bay or Luxor on the weekdays. The weekend rates are always insane anywhere down there.

It's an all suite hotel locating directly next door to the Bellagio. It's a non-gaming facility so you do not have to walk through miles of casino to get to your room. And it is relatively cheap for being directly on the strip. Parking is abundant...you can even valet at the Belagio for free if you wanted as it is like a 30 second walk from the hotel.

If you don't gamble much you should splurge on a nice hotel room. I usually stay at the Bellagio, I just like the whole vibe there. I recently stayed at Ny,Ny due to comps and was really disspointed. Shintaro @ Bellagio has awesome food. You have to try the Green Tea Creme' Brulee.
