Default Need HOTsync/PDA HELP!! Please...

For some reason I can not hotsync with my PDA and computer anymore!!!
I e-mailed Palm... they told me to uninstall the program (even in the reg) and it should work.
Of course not... I am so mad right now... I love my PDA and I need it badly... this has been going on for a WEEK NOW I am about to lose it.

I connect it to my USB port on my computer... it just STOPPED syncing... god... I am just so pissed right now... if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, they are more than welcomed!

Make sure after you uninstall it that you delete any and all files/folders in the palm directory.

Make sure you download a brand new version (the newest one), verify that your USB port is working...or try the serial port.

Had these problems before, but the install/uninstall worked as long as you get rid of all the old files.
