Default Need more help from the computer Gods...

Hey, if I want my computer to greet me (no I'm not that lonely, I just think it's cool ) like "Good evening Andrew" when I turn it on, instead of the Windows music, how do I get it to do such. I'm sure it's as simple as finding the correct sound file and putting it in place of the start up music, but where would I find such a sound file (sexy voice from a James Bond girl preferrably...lol)...and where do I find it on my computer?

Some info: DELL 8100 desktop, windows XP Pro.

C'mon guys, I know you know, and that you know I know that you need to let me know that you know .

Who's on First?

Thanks Gods/Gurus/Lords of the Keyboard!

Andrew

If you have a mic on your computer, just record you or somebody else saying it. Save it as a .wav file (should save it in that format anyway).

Once it is saved, do what foolio said ^, goto control panel, sounds, and the scroll down the list until you see system start.

It will show what sound you currently have selected, then just click browse and find the file you created in .WAV form.

Hope this helps!

Thanks guys. I was lookin' for something a little less like "you wanna' get high", and more like..."Andrew you're a God!", but that's ok.

Where can I search for wav files of all types like peeps search for avatars of all kinds?
