I personally like Ray Ban's but since I step on the, crush them, lose them all the time I stopped buying expensive ones. I went through $600 worth of Ray Bans in a four month period and gave up the habit.

I also have a source for half price Maui Jims from a local distributor friend but have yet to pull the trigger.

I just go to the kiosks that sell the knock off cheap-os at the mall and get three or four pair. Half are just UV protection, half come polarized and none are more than $20 a pair.

I like polarized better but you can't see backlit LCD screens with em on. I always think my Ipod is broken when I wear them.

Polarized are great when driving in the rain.

I generally like polarized ones. Big 5 usually has some pretty nice serengetti's for 50-100 bucks. I got a pair of smith's from them in that price range too.

Oakley all the way. I've had mine for ten years and the factory is still making the same frames.

I break about 2-3 pairs of sunglasses a year so I never spend more than 20 bucks on em.

I will admit though there are some bad ass looking sunglasses out there that cost an arm an a leg and if I had the money and the ability to not break them in a month I would probably pick up a pair.

However I swear every time I go to the Beach, there is always some dude asking for help looking for his $500 sunglasses he just lost in the ocean.
