I am needing to find a Honda BBS that is not full of twenty something kids bolting on every single crappy aftermarket wing or neon bulb to their car. From what I have seen, this is a real wrenchers site.

If this isn't the site (and I see it is for the S2k), then perhaps some gentle persuasion in the right direction?

No rice here...just a bunch of dorks with S2000's, myself included.

Most of the talk, especially in Car Talk, is all about the S2000, so if that's cool with you, hang out and hang at one of the best car forums on the internet. Off Topic and all the other forums may be a little less S2000-related, but not by much.

To be honest you aren't going to find a lot of info here about the Prelude. The information is pretty S2000 centered. That said, I know for a fact that many members are familiar with other Honda models, many have either owned or still own them and are very knowledgeable. You are perfectly welcome to hang out and ask questions and I'm sure you will get some very good information back.

I can't say for sure which is the best site for you. Others may have better suggestions.

 

Try http://www.hondaprelude.com At times, there is good discussion about mechanicals, racing, theories, etc. by alot of members. But discussion sometimes does lead into flames, immaturities, etc....not so different from other boards but definitely Prelude specific.

Great community base with some of the older members and those of us that were there in the beginning.

I'm there occasionally...my screen name there is Luder94 there also...

Yeah, I found hondaprelude.com, and it is definitely mostly the younger scene, it seems. Maybe its just the japanese import scene. I used to have an old Bimmer, and you definitely didn't bolt on big fiberglass wings (ala Indy/F1 cars) to your old E30. I am sure that there were those who did, but they were very rare to the boards talking about 15 y/o cars.

Not to mention that I work with a guy (S2K driver)who frequents this board, and has teased me with the Dragon video. Very nice. Maybe next time you guys go, I can be the odd man out up there. It's not really fair though, I can floor it at the apex and pull hard through it. I see you guys getting a little fishy up there. ;]
