While I'm not usually one try to find humor in the midst of real tragedy, I that that's hysterical 
I live in Northern VA, and I gotta admit when I last bought gas I kept moving and tried to stay near large concrete structures. I may have to get me one of these!

Maybe too soon to laugh at but some tips...
Park facing the road and keep your door OPEN. Pay at the pump.
If you're REALLY paranoid do that AND squat/knee down while pumping so you're NO target.
I don't think the guy is a true sniper from what I've seen
