decided on 700m, it is small and has the trulife HD widescreen as well. i know ibm x series are better but cant pass a $1600 notebook selling for $850

In terms of reliability, our company tries to get everyone to buy Dell portables. They've had the least problems but nobody here is buying the base models. IBM's shine is gone. Nothing but trouble with several recent IBM laptops.
