Not a bad neighbor story, but a stupid person story.
So I recently got promoted and moved to a new site in charge of security for a pretty big complex. One of my first days there, I'm driving around looking to see where I should park, so I'm going pretty slow through the place.
Now I have a Mugen exhaust, which isn't loud at all [especially at 2k], but some security guy starts waving at me so I drive up to him and he says to me "slow down, this ain't a race course" or something to that effect. I say sure and ask him where do employees park, he points me to a lot like 10 ft. away, so I mosey on.
I find a spot and on my way into the building, I stop and ask him what his name is. He gets all defensive and immediately asks why and starts rambling that I shouldn't have been speeding anyways. Of course I ask him how fast was I going and he starts throwing ridiculous numbers at me. I tell him I know the speed limit here is 25km/h as posted at the entrance, and I know for a fact that I was going under the limit because i have big numbers on my dash that say so, and I was going extra slow to look for employee parking. He looks at me and says well I've been doing this for 20 years and I know when someone is speeding through my building. I look right back at him and say "no, you WERE doing this for 20 years. I'm your new boss, and I'd like to see you in my office".
No, I didn't actually fire him over something so stupid, but I got my point across. The reason new management was sent over there is because the security operation there is a joke. Full of old people not willing to change with the times thinking they run the place because they've been there for decades.
He's very courteous and professional when he sees me coming in now.

well i dont have any big problem with my neighbors but i dont like my neighbor down the street because he alway be looking at me when i drive by(i think hes around 20ish). one night i came home late and i see his big suv blocking the road, his wife was trying to move the other car into the house. i was about 15mph and i had to stop beacuse his suv was in the way and he came out the suv telling me "you never learn huh" i said "learn what" than he said "i better not see you speeding in my block" he was drunk or kinda tipsy because i can smell the alcohol on him when i roll down my window. i was kinda mad afterward but im like whatever now, every time when he look at me i looked right back and drove away. My other neighbor on my left side of my the house were be little dicks because they would alway put a orange cone infont of their house to save the parking, but its a public parking space for everyone. Around my neighborhood its hard to find parking beacuse there alot of people living in one house or letting people rent the downstair. There a public parking lot down 2 or 3 blocks away from my house and i wouldnt park my car there because i dont think its safe or so, also there a bar down there and i alway see cops there. My family and other neighbors would get mad about them saving the spot, but they wouldnt say anything about it cause i think their were scared of them because they were black and are selling drugs from the house. I think they didnt want to cause any problem with them because they are drug dealer(i alway see random cars come by every day and nights for few mins and leave, also i alway see cops stop by the house ) but me and my family didnt care or were scared of them. One day my mom got home from work, she try to ask them to stop saving the spot and they wouldnt answer the door, but we knew they was home. Me and my brother would alway get mad coming home late seeing 1 spot that left but there was a orange cone there. so one night my brother took the orange cone and toss it some where and few days later we see another orange cone, we was like what the hell. One day when my uncle came by to chill, he took the cone to put it on the sidewalk so he can park his car there and the man come out saying "HEY you cant park in my spot" my uncle said "its public parking" and they got into a argument. i came out to see what going on, i told him its public parking and dont make me CALL THE COPS, he shut up and went back in the house. Later that night my uncle left and he took the cone with him, now i dont see any more orange cone
and they trying to be nice to us saying hi, but i know they are faking it.
Sorry for the long story/post
p.s few months later when i woke up in the afternoon, i look out my window i see around 20ish cop cars and alot of cops. they was blocking my whole neighborhood block, no cars could get in or out. The house got raid it but i think they still are selling drugs.

Think of it this way... how would you like it if someone came and dumped their garbage on your lawn or on your car? It's the same concept... you're leaving your crap in someone else's yard to smell or step in or have to clean up. If you have a pet, that's awesome, but it's your responsibility to keep their crap in your yard or to clean up after them.
My dogging doing its business (one or two) in that area is on crown land. The owner of the house directly opposite this crown land has no title or rights to it.
Hope you have never littered mate and the world has bigger problems get on with it.

The land between the street and the sidewalk (aka nature strip is aus anyway) is crown land.

Additionally, I don't know the regulations in Australia, but I know for a fact in my city/neighborhood that:
1) It is illegal (civil penalty) to allow your pet to defecate on public property without removing the feces.
2) My HOA has bylaws stating that you must clean up after your pet. You must take it with you if the dog drops bombs on someone else's lawn, and you must clean the crap out of your own yard on a regular basis (I think it's every 2 weeks or so), so that the it doesn't start becoming detectable from other neighbors. You can be fined if you don't.
And just for the record... I don't litter. What's the point when there is likely a trash can within 100ft anyway? I also don't leave my shopping cart sitting in the middle of the parking lot. It's just demonstrates your lack of respect for others. So, yeah... maybe you are a jerk.
Live life how you want to, but don't be surprised if some day someone else is just as disrespectful to you.
