Lol my neighorhood "leader" gets pissed at me and my brother all the time. I live in a gated community, so things get pretty serious when it comes to anything inside the gates. This guy is like 60-70 years old and tells me to "SLOW DOWN!!!" everytime i drive by him going 20.

BTW, the speed limit set in our neighborhood is 19, I know right? weird ass limit.

Oh yeah, and recently, the "commitee" that decides everything for this neighborhood decided to redesign our gates, which were perfectly fine.
1st note: It cost around 8 grand
2nd note: Terribly ugly
It pisses me off when they spend that kind of money (my money) to do something that stupid when they could have fixed the problems we have like a more efficient toll tag gate opener.

my neighbors always complain about the noise (but then again, most of my friends gather at my house to do their work and whatnot in the middle of the night.. ) and my other neighbor is always telling me to focus on school and not so much on my car.

What does muggin mean?

Funny story. My neighbor's hated my old T1R 70mm setup. Every time I would get back to my neighborhood, I'd redline the hell out of my car for a few gears before I turned onto my road. The entire neighborhood could hear my car for probably a mile. I always got nasty looks just about every day.

At my mother's gated condo community, there is an Explorer in there on the way to her place that has an alarm that went off every time I'd drive by. Every time. I can't tell you how many times the owner would flick me off, give me dirty looks, and have other neighbors tell me things about my car.

"you know, that thing really is ridiculous. You wake up the entire neighbor hood every night"

"you're going to go deaf in that thing you know"

"We're trying to eat dinner, could you shut that damn thing up?"

I've had stock exhaust back in for about 6 months, but now the turbo is almost done and the 3" is going to eff everybody up once again. I cannot wait

I've had this.

Couple that with walking the dog and not picking up after it - I was not a popular person.

Note where I live you can be reported for not picking up after your dog. And fined.

When did we go from horses and carts and massive turds on main street to having to pick up after our animals

You just have to find an area where you don't have to pick up and go there There are some abandoned railroad tracks by me and I go there.

You guys sound like a bunch of little kids. Why the disrespect? If someone tells you to slow down or keep the noise down, they have every right to do so. Its of course up to you to listen, but there is no need to make the noise louder, or say or gesture in profain ways. You dont own the streets, and people have the right to not have to listen to your loud ass car driving up and down the street. Seems like all your neighbors are justified in doing what they do.

I have a very loud exhaust, but I cruise into my garage and make as little noise as possibe. If i pass by cars with alarms i hit the clutch. If you show peopel respect, you will get it back.

^ I agree completly. Some neighbors I have had do enjoy making trouble. I have been yelled at once for doing the speed limit through my neighborhood. However that lady wasn't a fan of anyone to begin with. I don't see it necessary to flip anyone off or yell profanities. You are basically just moving yourself down to their levels. Easily one of the most immature threads I have read in a longgg time.

Surprisingly I have yet to have any problems with neighbors with any of my cars. Hopefully it will stay that way.
I even had a roommate once that owned a 96 Gti VR6 and several nights a week he would get drunk as piss and just redline the crap out of his car all around the block. Spinning tires and hauling ass at 2 or 3 am.

**Disclaimer - Obviously this is irresponsible and I do not condone this type of behavior.**
