Reminds me of a joke:

A guy buys an S2000 and on his way home he starts to open her up a bit(past break-in guys) next thing he knows he's doin 100 in a 60 zone and there's blue lights flashin in his rear view.

Now the guy's been reading street encounters so he thinks to himself sh*t this coppers kidding Ill just outrun him. So he knocks it back a gear and goes at it again. He then realised that he was getting a little carried away so he pulled in to the kerb

Officero you realise just how fast you were going back there?

Officer(a little surprised at the honesty): Well.....look pal its Friday afternoon and I wanna knock off.....if you can give me a good reason for speeding Ill let you go.


Perp(pauses slightly):Well officer last week my wife ran off with a copper and I thought you were tryin to bring her back.

I would also add that when a cop pulls you out of the car and tells you to "Assume the position" Don't ask which one. You will find your head bouncing off the roof, trunk, wing, and bumper before he handcuffs you and not too gently tosses you in a snowbank while he proceeds to search your car.
