About time! I can't stand all those modified Harley Davidson exhaust notes. Way too loud. Music, I have no problem with.

That does suck ass..
I agree.. I like bikes but guys on Harleys roar by my place all the time and they are loud as hell.. Give anyone a ticket if they break sound ordinances, that's fine.. but make sure it's real.. this camera crap has got to stop somewhere....

That'd be awesome. I'd just park right under it, and rev my engine all night, and see how many tickets they mailed me. Frikkin' morons :/

It would be great if something could be done about those awful harleys with straight pipes. I never knew having a motorcyle with the exhaust note of a lawnmower could be cool.

The noise ordinances controlling the dB rating for exhausts are specific as to how and where they are measured and at what rpm range. Here in Michigan they are measured from the side at xx feet and have to exceed 95dB at that point. This is the major reason we see very few cars with side exhausts anymore, the Viper was more or less forced to add exhaust piping and change from a side exhaust to rear because of this. Check your local noise ordinances to find our what the specifics are if you get a ticket for loud exhausts, or do it before you put it on.

so you are a bigger noise violator than the bikes, huh? I hate people like you who can't turn down the sensitivity of their alarms, no matter how useless the current setting is. All you are doing is making sure no-one gives a shit in your neighborhood when an alrm goes off. Ever heard of the boy who cried wolf?

I used to live across the street from the dorms at the university.
First it was the loud exhausts trying to impress girls; then, alarms would go off because of the loud exhausts. The only time I'd get any sleep was when students went home for the holidays.
