Default New cell phone - RAZR2 V9?

I can upgrade my current ATT GSM phone (RAZR V3i) next month... I was thinking about the RAZR2 V9 as I have the Moto software and all the flip opening, call buttons, and what not for the RAZR are in muscle memory.

I would like something with more features than the current phone but don't want something blackberry-sized. Cost isn't really an object as it will be 100% expensed up to $500.

What would be better? Nokia N95 unlocked from Amazon?

Forgot to mention that I'm not interested in the iPhone - too big and I already have all the functions in an ultraportable work laptop.

I'd get an iPhone, being on ATT. You may not want one, but I've been looking for a while myself and can't find anything better. I'd say the Tilt, but its huge and you stated you don't ant anything Blackberry sized.

If you wanted something really slender, I think the RAZR would be it for a basic phone though - its still the best slim-line phone imo. Not sure what you mean by extra features.

My BB Pearl 8130 has been my perfect answer in a phone. None of the restrictions of the iphone or the weight or the size. The BB is a pain to learn but if you put the time into it is a great phone.

Does the Pearl have the mapping software like a 'regular' blackberry? I like what I've heard about the Pearl but am not familiar with how it compares.

What's wrong with Moto? I've had good luck with mine: StarTAC, v60, RAZR V3, V3i...

My favorite phone of all time was an Ericsson T28 World.

I'm about to upgrade my phone soon, too.
While iphone seems really great with its versatile and fancy functions, It's too much of phone for me.
I was actually thinking of getting a RAZR2 as well.
A simple phone that does everything ok, not too fancy, I like their design, I know moto phone's aren't the greatest, but they are acceptable. I'm on my 3rd RAZR since when it first came out, and I wouldn't mind getting RAZR2.

Just make sure you stay away from LG or Samsung.
