they already have HYBRID model on the last generation Civic, but not sell in US.

What about the Toyota Matrix? You can get just as much mpg and it offers all wheel drive together at about the same price as the Civic Hybrid-plus the Matrix is a wagon offering more cargo room.

No you can't. Where did you get the numbers for the Matrix from?

Umm, the Matrix (with auto trans) gets 27/32mpg in 2WD and 25/30mpg in 4WD. The Civic hybrid gets 48/47mpg with CVT. That's not really close.

Also, the hybrid has an MSRP of $21K with CVT, $20K with manual.

Official release date per American Honda is April 25th.

If anyone's in car sales(non-highline), Hondas are the ones to sell right now. I can tell you that this new civic HYBRID is going to be big. I have four people who want to buy one right now...and I may just grab one for myself!
