Anybody know if dealers (BMW) are taking deposits for the new Mini yet?

 

I hear they're as big if not bigger than a Civic hatch, you sure it's a "mini"?

well as an example it just says there will be two dealers in Dallas. Not much info.

 

Several months ago I heard BMW was talking about having only one Mini dealer per state. I thought that was stupid, I would not drive a long distance to buy and have a car serviced. Imagine if you needed to be towed and you were in Texas. 6 hour drive later, the truck driver drops your car off at the dealer

I put my name on the list via the Mini website a while ago. Looks like there will be 2 dealers in my area, one here in Richmond (only 5 miles from my house) and one in the VA Beach area. Plus one or 2 in the NoVA/DC area....
